Just like the welll-mannered children they are (the majority of the time), they all decided to whip out pens and pencils and crayons and write Lou a 'thank you' note. Maura wanted to read to me what she had written. So of course, since we've been blogging (and I know there's no telling what Maura will do sometimes), I grabbed the camera. This is COMPLETELY unscripted - no one told her what to read or how to read it...
Crae had his first soccer game today! After only 2 practices, we are thrilled to tell y'all Team Lightening TIED!! Crae is loving this whole soccer thing. And what makes me giggle is the fact that during practice a couple of days ago, he looked SO much like his Uncle Bradley when he was little. Hands on his hips, head tilted down but always keeping his eyes up, looking around like "okay, let's do this..."
Crae and his friend Hayden - the armchair... wait, do they have quarterbacks in soccer? (Yes, those are maracas they're holding. What else are you going to cheer a team of 4 & 5 year-olds on with? lol!)
But when he wasn't discussing strategy...
And just in case you have to play the video a couple of times, Crae's the first to kick the ball - the guy who desperately needed a kleenex.
